Parenting plan mediation in the Tri-Cities
A parenting plan says where your kids live and when they spend time with each parent. I help parents, married or not, build a plan that puts the kids first. I don’t take sides. You both decide.
What we work on
- The weekly schedule: which days the kids spend with each parent
- Holidays, birthdays, and school breaks
- Who picks up and drops off, and where
- How you’ll make big decisions about school, health, and activities
- How you’ll talk to each other and handle changes
What to expect
We keep the talks simple and focused on your kids. We meet in person in the Tri-Cities or on Zoom, at a pace that works for both of you. If a judge ordered you to try mediation, I can help with that.
When you’re done, your plan goes into a written agreement. You or your attorneys can use it in your case.
Common questions
Do we have to be married?
No. I help any parents who need a plan for their kids, married or not.
A judge ordered us to try mediation. Can you help?
Yes. Court-ordered cases are welcome. If the court asks, I can only say whether you came and whether you reached an agreement. I don’t share what you said.
What if it’s hard to be in the same room?
We can meet on Zoom, and I can talk with each of you separately. If you’re worried about your safety, tell me during the consultation so we can talk about whether mediation is a good fit.

Mediation is not legal advice. Victor Barajas is not an attorney. We encourage each person to talk with an attorney.
